Children are recommended to see our dentists so that problems such as crowded or missing teeth can be detected early. The earlier these are identified the less difficult they are to treat and the better the results! Our mission here at Eastwood Dental Clinic is to help patients achieve positive, healthy and long-lasting oral habits. The basis for good oral hygiene is set in early ages. This is why we encourage the youngest to visit our friendly dentists in a fun and relaxed environment. Did you know that 40% of primary school children in NSW experienced tooth decay by 5 years of age? Poor oral health in childhood can lead to severe dental problems in adolescence and adulthood.

We provide the following preventative services:

• Cleaning to remove plaque and tartar
• Mouth guards for protection during sports
• Fissure Sealants are coatings applied to the back teeth to provide a barrier against decay
• Our dentist will also demonstrate correct brushing and flossing techniques
• Identify any risk and signs for tooth decay
