The use of dental x-rays is vital in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of many dental conditions. Using dental x-rays, our dentists can detect problems that are not visible to the human eye. These problems include oral cancer, cysts, infections and bone loss. At Eastwood Dental Clinic, we offer radiographic services such as:

• Bitewings, used to detect decay in teeth as it provides a clear picture of the upper and lower crowns.
• Periapical (PA) films, used to examine the entire tooth including its root and surrounding bone structure.
• Panoramic (OPG) films, provide an overall view of entire upper and lower jaws. This is useful for identifying any trauma or abnormal growths.
